About Us

What to Expect
We are for the community of Loon Lake and Stevens County. You can expect to feel welcomed, at home, and enjoy a nice warm cup of coffee, hot cocoa, tea, or apple cider on us. Our hope is that you would be comfortable to walk in our doors wearing whatever you think appropriate; we have folks who dress up and folks in jeans and t-shirts. We love kids and have lap activity desks for each child that are disinfected each week, as well as Kids Church upstairs in the round building.
Lakeside Nazarene Church loves Jesus and loves people. We want to encourage you, welcome you, and help you on your journey of knowing God more through scriptural teaching, preaching, and relationship building with other believers.

Pastor Valerie would love to get coffee or tea sometime, as well!

WE BELIEVE in one God—the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

WE BELIEVE human beings are born with a fallen nature and are, therefore, inclined to evil, and that continually.

WE BELIEVE the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.

WE BELIEVE the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and to the entire sanctification (holiness) of believers.

WE BELIEVE the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.

WE BELIEVE the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost.

WE BELIEVE believers are to be sanctified wholly, subsequent to regeneration, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

WE BELIEVE our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgement will take place.

Our History
Beginning in 1976, Pinelow Park Church of the Nazarene started on Pinelow Park Nazarene Campground. Over time we became         Pinelow Lakeside then Lakeside Church of the Nazarene upon purchasing property at our current location in 1989.
The purpose of those early beginnings was to provide a place to worship for the seasonal people as well as the
permanent residents at Deer lake and the surrounding area. Lakeside has had four building projects with plans for
another expansion in the future as we strive to meet the needs of and better serve our growing community.
